I recently agreed with a seller on mutually agreed price to purchase the item. The agreed price and the shipping charge to overseas. Those were the only charges shown. However after accepting the offer at the check out it showed in addition to shipping and item price and IMPORT CHARGE. which was never shown earlier. Why does not Ebay show the import charges to the buyer before confirming to buy. It is blatantly wrong. As the buyer should know the total to be paid before confirming the sale.
