I returned item to seller , Oct 16th 2015, seller signed for and received Item

I returned item to seller because seller was staling and would not get back to me. She was steady posting more items on eBay, but would not answer my emails. Finally, I got a message, please email tracking number when shipped, thanks. Seller staled and i had to buy my own shipping label and mailed out on Oct 13th at 8:30 AM.  After i bought my on return shipping label, and shipped item back to seller. Seller then sends me a return shipping label on Oct 13th 2015, PM, same day i had all ready shipped item back to the seller. Anyways the package went to seller and was signed for and received Oct 16th, 2015. To make a long story short. Heard nothing more from seller, and when i clicked on, order details it shows seller recieved item and signed for it.Ebay tells me seller had until Oct 26, 15 to refund, but nothing yet. Then they will STEP IN.....on what? To refund? Click HELP button does not even work. I have contacted eBay, they say they will refund. I have not heard from them or the seller. Some dishonest folks make it hard on honest ones. How long will it be before i get refund from eBay. What must i do, or how long do i wait on eBay, today is 10/31/15. Wish i had went straight to PayPal first. I wanted to give seller a chance. Seller already had 9 negatives, but didn't know this when i bid. My fault! But buyers give negative feedbacks for the fun of it , i feel. Need to not be able to leave bad feedback on a sellers selling. This is the first negative i have ever left !  I should have checked before i bid. I got a Fake item that should have been Silver and Turqouise, which was neither, and i paid 179.99, for the item. Anyone have this happen?
