I know its a scam...

After the auction is over and I have a winning bidder. I get a email from some scum bag that offers me more $$. I check their profile and most of the time they have none.

I have looked on how to report this, but draw on zero on the ebay help .  Any suggestions ?

@island-trader-tk   They may be using a guest account that's why it appears as if they don't have an eBay account.   On a computer you can report the message >>

Unfortunately bad buyers are attracted to some items.

Here's some advice that will help you reduce your unpaid buyer cancelations and avoid dealing with these types of members.

1. The only way to avoid this problem is to list as Fixed Price immediate payment required, only NO auctions and NO best offers**.

**( eBay does have a new setting you can turn on to require buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer, it is at the bottom of this page: https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements.)

To have the immediate payment required option you will need to change listing tools if you are using the Quick Listing Tool or App.

Sign up for Seller Hub while working from your computer to create your listing using the New Listing Tool.

A. Go to https://www.ebay.com/sh/landing

B. Click Start Using Seller Hub

C. To create a new listing go to your active listings page:

https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active and click the blue Create listing button near the top, right-hand side of the page.

D. The IPR box is located by selecting edit all fields in the payment section for this listing tool, then click on the blue hyper link for Payments Managed by eBay. On the next screen you will have the option for Immediate Payment Required.

2) If you have offers from suspicious buyers or they don't pay then add them to your blocked buyer list:

https://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin

3) If buyer doesn't pay then on the 5th day after sale cancel as buyer hasn't paid. This prevents the buyer from leaving feedback and they receive a strike. Final value sellers fees are not charged until an item is paid for.   Do NOT send an invoice as that starts the clock over again for when you can cancel as buyer hasn't paid.

4) Have you set up your shipping preferences and buyer requirements in account settings:

1.  Block buyers whose primary shipping address is in a location I don't ship to AND block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items in 12 months.    https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements

2. Require buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer>>

@island-trader-tk

If this person messaged you through eBay messaging, there is a report link within that message. You can report their message and consider blocking them. You are not required to respond to them.
