I have not received the payment for the item, even the buyer had paid

So I have a problem here, the buyer had purchased item and he paid for it via PayPal. The payment never appeared in the Paypal activity. After doing some search in the community forum I found out that the problem is because the email address in eBay's payment policy and the PayPal does not match. I have changed my address and they both match now, however I am still missing the previous payment and I couldn't find next steps for the solution. Also the website that I was using before to register my PayPal does not exist anymore, so it's impossible to register the previous email again. 

Problem summary:

The issue is that I have changed my PayPal email address, but I forgot to do the update in eBay. I have updated my payment policy now with a new email addres. However, the previous payment does not appear.  How do I get the payment for my item that was sent to old PayPal email?
