Ask the buyer for photos of the damaged item, outer packaging, inner packaging, shipping label. You will then refund the buyer in full and ask the buyer to set everything aside incase the carrier wants to inspect it all. Then log onto the carrier's website and file an insurance claim, uploading the photos the buyer sent you. If the carrier accepts the claim, they will send you a check.
