I bought an spraygun on eBay

I won a  spraygun on an eBay auction and went and paid for it on Pay Pal. Then I got a message from the seller that his Pay Pal account is not active any more and that I should make a payment to a different Pay Pal account. I'm confused and do not know what to do, I need an eBay person to answer to my dilemma.

@umka53   First of all, we are not "eBay" people here as far as being direct employees is concerned,  We are volunteer members (Buyers and Sellers) helping folks like you with problems.

Do NOT send any money to an alternate PayPal account, that is a scam and is as simple as you sending money to someone as a gift.  If you have paid for the item then wait one day past the delivery date and file an Item not received claim and follow the directions on the claim that eventually leads to a refund.

In the meantime, if you want you can message the Seller and ask them to Cancel your purchase until such time that they have their account(s) sorted out and up to date.  The Seller does not have to cancel but this way you go on record making the request.
