How to turn off notifications

How do you turn off all notifications? I've tried..    it will not react to turning them off..  just because I look at an item doesn't mean I want to be hounded by notifications about that item every day..  very anoying ..    about ready to delete the whole app...   Thanks

Open the eBay app, tap the three-bar menu icon in the upper left, scroll down to Settings, from there choose Notifications. You should have options to turn on or off various notifications related to buying or selling.

Try disabling push notifications.

Use the General category to control how notifications are treated -- silent or vibrate, whether notifications appear on the lock screen, etc.

Some general info here, though some of the settings may have changed since this page was last updated.
