How to set up Combined Calculated Shipping Rule

I can't seem to get this Combined shipping feature to work for me.   I want the buyer to be able to see the shipping cost based on total weight of their purchase when I ship multiple items in one box.  Instead they just see a total cost of each item added individually.  I've tried all the options and nothing seems to work.  Any ideas?

How to set up Combined Calculated Shipping Rule

@dmpm5981

First, change your global settings here: https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf

1) Combined payments "edit"

- Allow buyers to send one combined payment for all items purchased

- Time period to combine payments <your choice> days

Allow combined payments and shipping

Then set up the Shipping Rules:

2) Calculated shipping rule "edit"

Select rules for combining weights for purchases with calculated shipping

- Combine all weights or combine all weights and subtract x ounces

(You can have several of these rules.)

Then, you need to ADD the combined shipping rule to each of the listings you want it to apply to. (in your listing or by bulk edit)

You will need the New Listing Tool OR Business Policies to use the rule.

In your listing

Scroll to SHIPPING

(If it says "Shipping Policy" stop and come back to tell me)

- Shipping method > choose "small to medium items"

- Enter Package weight and dimensions

Domestic Shipping

For CALCULATED

- Cost type > Calculated: Cost varies based on buyer location

- Click "Add Services"  (in the box with the + sign)

Select the Shipping company

Add the Calculated Shipping Rule you created before.

This screenshot shows Flat Shipping, but you can see where the "Shipping Rule" will be located in the shipping area of your listing.

If your shipping doesn't look like this you may need to update your listing tool to the New Listing Tool.

Also, be aware that Calculated combined shipping only combines the weights. It does not combine the dimensions. You can end up with an oversized box.
