How to send a link to my item for sale on ebay

I want to share with a potential customer my item listed on eBay. How do I send them a link?  
I can find nothing but eBays fear I might take the sale offsite. 
you should fear that since I need to come to the community to find out how. I searched Help. Now that I’ve wasted so much time.

Go to the listing and copy the URL and send it or send the buyer the item number and they can use it to search for the item.

Or go to the listing and click the Share link, which gives you different options to share the listing.
