How to return an item I didn't order

I got a pair of shoes from eBay, but I know I didn't order them.  How do I find the seller and return them?

Were you waiting for something, anything, from a seller on eBay, who perhaps sent you the wrong item?

I haven't ordered anything from eBay since March 2020.

Are they nice shoes?  Are they your size?  Is it your birthday?  Some other reason you'd receive a gift?  I'm reminded of the time I bought a couple of diamond coated nail files, and had them sent directly to my daughter.  Not for her birthday, just because.  It's easy to do, you just change the "Ship to" address on the Check Out page.  Maybe somebody bought the shoes and had them sent to you as a gift.

Mystery solved! 🙂 My mom had ordered the shoes, and accidentally sent them to me. She forgot to change the mailing address.
