How do I report issues with messages and notifications from the Ebay app? Recently an item of mine sold, the buyer tells me that they sent several messages to arrange collection. I did not receive a notification that the item had sold, or that the buyer had paid, nor did I receive any of the messages the buyer sent to arrange collection. The only notification I received was when the buyer sent a cancellation request to cancel the order. Later in the day I received messages from the buyer via another item I was selling explaining that they had been trying to contact me.
It seems like there is/was an issue with the notification and the messages coming through via the app, this could have implications for sales and feedback ratings. But there is no means of reporting any technical issues within the app. The 'Contact Us' link on the website doesn't offer the option of reporting issues with messages, it just takes you through a pointless cycle of irrelevant FAQs. So how do you report an issue like this?

Use the notification diagnostic tool in your eBay app notification settings to check to see if your settings are blocking notifications.
Issues with the eBay app can be reported by shaking your phone while the app is active.
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant that you reach from the Help & Contact page to request a chat with an agent or a call back.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
