How to proceed after winning an auction?

Hello all,

I recently bid on a CD for £19, and this morning found a notice that the auction had ended on that single bid of £19. However, I haven't recieved any confirmation that I won the auction or any instructions on confirming my payment to the seller, either here or through my e-mail. I have never bid on an item on eBay before (all previous purchases were at fixed prices), so I'm not sure how to procede from this point. Is there an automated feature for confirming the sale when an auction ends, or must buyers contact the sellers (or vice-versa) on their own?

Regardless if a listing is auction-style or fixed price, ebay sends an email/invoice to the buyer.  Buyer clicks the PAY NOW > PAYPAL button to pay.
