Hello, I hope this is the right place to ask this question!
I have been selling piano rolls on ebay. I recently had a buyer ask me if I had any of a specific type. I told him I'd get back to him, and I've got a list together of the titles and song lists. It is a rather long list and I wasn't sure what the best way was of doing this transaction.
I was thinking that if I could get the list to him by replying to his message, I could do an eBay listing for the specific ones he wants. That way it goes through the proper channels to use ebay. I just wasn't sure how to get him the list. The best I could think of is a screenshot of the google doc pages I have the list on. I could send him the link to the google doc, but I thought that sounded like something ebay wouldn't like.
Any advice? Thanks for reading.
@callicob-0 I would create a listing with all of the items in the description box. Use a generic title that no one would search for. Some sellers will use the buyers user ID but I don't like to do that as it should not be posted publicly. I would use a title of PRIVATE LISTING. Put the listing price high so no one wants to buy it.
Then he can say I want x, y, z... then you cancel that listing and create a new one with x, y,z
I know this is a hassle but it's the only way to not set off the eBay bots that might think you are trying to make a sale outside of eBay.
