How to mark an item as sold

I need to mark an item as sold or delete the post. The item is no longer available

You can't mark it as Sold. You can only delete the listing. To do that:

To delete an item that is already listed:

Go to your My eBay > Selling page. Scroll down to your currently-listed items and find the listing you want to delete. On the right side of that listing box, you'll see a notation which reads "More actions." Click on "More actions," and you'll get a drop-down menu, where you'll see the option to "End item." Click on that and follow the instructions, and your listing will be gone.

To cancel a listing that is scheduled but has not yet gone "live":

Go to your My eBay > Selling page. Scroll down to your items which are scheduled for listing. Find the scheduled listing you wish to cancel. On the left side of the scheduled listing area for that item, you'll see a small box. Click to enter a check-mark into the box. Look beneath your entire list of scheduled items and you'll see a horizontal list of action options. Find and click on "Delete." Your scheduled listing will be canceled and deleted.
