If it has been 30 days or more and no one has taken that name since you abandoned it, and it is not in anyway close to your ebay email address, you can edit your ebay Profile and change your ID to it.

Sign out of this new account you created, then sign in with ashen2002.  The ID is active and has recent purchases, so I assume you know the password.  If not, you can request help with your password on the sign in page.

Once you have accessed your old account, sign out.   Sign in with this new ID and request it to be closed here -
