How to change phone number to get text confirmation

My phone number has changed and I can’t sign in  because text is sent to wrong number to confirm.

Using a desktop browser, on the sign-in page where you are prompted for your password, use the "Need help signing in?" link. From there, choose the "reset" option, but rather than resetting your password, use the "contact" link to get in touch with eBay. That link is specifically for users that cannot sign in.

You will have to prove you are the original account holder in order to update your phone number.
