How to Update Tracking Number?

I had to change the tracking number of my package but my Buyers has the wrong or should I say canceled Number I tried to go to the Sold section and used the Edit Feature but it only lets me Add another number and not change or delete the original one. Is the New Tracking Number the dephault one or is there a way to delete the original Tracking Number (The wrong One)???
