In order to answer that question, we'd need to know what "it" is. Please post back to provide some details if I'm guessing wrong with the advice below:
You found an item (usually a vehicle) on another website where the so-called seller tells you that eBay will handle the sale.
If so, this is a common scam, and you are dealing with a criminal who is trying to steal your money.
eBay has nothing to do with listings on other sites. If the item isn't listed on the eBay website and if you don't purchase it through the eBay listing, the transaction has nothing to do with eBay.
