How do i create a listing with Multi-Variations?
help topics said Seller Hub or advanced selling tools
neither one had specific details.
i found one thing that said ‘turn off auction’, then Multi-Variations will magically appear above some section - pricing maybe. I can’t even find that ‘help’ anymore

Creating "Variations" adds the drop-down box on your listing so buyers can pick an option, piece, size, or color. You can have a different price and quantity for each variation.
Not all categories allow variations, particularly antique and collectible categories.
Getting to Variations the first time takes several very specific steps.
This is a long message. Follow step by step and you will get there. Ask questions if you get stuck.

1) To add different options/sizes/colors to one listing (Variations) you need to use the "Advanced Listing Tool" on the website
-- Neither Mobile App nor the website "Quick Listing Tool" will allow variations
"Quick Listing Tool" has a "gear" ⚙ in the upper right, and the "New Listing Tool" has ︙ 3 dots in the upper right.
Upgrade to the free "Advanced Listing Tool"
If you don't have the "Advanced Listing Tool" (with the ︙ 3 dots in the upper right), you can get it by opting in to "Seller Hub".
You can Opt-In to Seller Hub here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/landing
Start or Revise a listing here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
Find a draft here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/drafts
2) Not all eBay categories support variation listings. (Some categories of Collectibles, Antiques, eBay Motors, and Business & Industrial do not allow variations).
Very important steps [if you don't do these first, steps 6-8 will not work]
3) Start a brand-new listing (don't try to revise an existing Active listing, don't use a "matching" product, don't use a listing template)
4) Add a Title and a Category
5) Make it a Fixed Price listing (Choose "Buy It Now" in "Format" and Turn OFF "Allow Offers")
Then, you will be able to find variations this way:
6) Click the " ︙ 3 dots" in the upper right-hand corner
7) Select Settings
8 ) Turn On the Switch for Variations
(if you skip the earlier steps, this switch will not be here)
9) You will now be able to find the "Edit" Pencil for Variations below "Item Specifics" and above "Description" on the right.
- It must be a NEW listing, not a listing that is already live
- You must use the "Advanced Listing Tool" with ︙ 3 dots in the upper right.
- It must be in a category that supports variations.
- It must be a fixed-price listing.

✓ Tip: Preview will show your Attribute boxes, but the drop-down options are not functional until you list it.
