How can I have my item authenticated?

I’ve read eBay will authenticate items is I send the item in . I’d like to do that but don’t see on the eBay site how to do that .

The authenticity guarantee applies to items that are listed in certain categories.  If the item qualifies, you will see the authenticity guarantee checkmark on the listing.  If it is not there, the item can not go to the authenticator.

The item goes for authentication after it sells, not before it is listed.
