Has any seller ever had a legitimate offer?

I've been selling on Ebay about a month now and have probably received more than 20 offers on the items I am selling. Every one I've accepted has been bogus. Every one has had a text me or email me message which have been told not to do so if I accept an offer I immediately go and invoice them through Ebay.   Then of course none of them pay and they don't even respond.   For a while I was responding and saying that I don't communicate outside of Ebay now I just mess with them.   A lot of them are from the same people or have the exact same message misspellings and all.  If anyone has had a real offer and acceptance transaction can you tell me how you knew it wasn't bogus?  Or if someone can tell me how to stop Ebay from changing my settings from not to accept offers to accept offers when they automatically relist an item that would work too.  If I don't go in right away and change the relist back to no offers within hours I start getting the bogus offers again
