Getting out of hand

I feel like ebay is getting outrageous on their fees, sold something for $150  and only made $122, that does not include the shipping,  does anyone else feel like Ebay is charging too much? Should I sell elsewhere?

@1steamboatwillie35   The fees before were 10.2% ebay and 2.9% paypal + .30 cents

eBay charged their fees on the item price and shipping.  Paypal charged their fees on the item price + shipping + sales tax that was collected and remitted.  

The fees now for most categories are 12.55%.   The fees are charged on the total the buyer pays including the sales tax.  

The fees do average out to about the same as they were before.
