Free listings message expired before I got it!

I just got a message today, May 7th, that evidently came through at 5:30 a.m. letting me know I had 100 free listings. I said yay and clicked on the activate button only to find that it said it expired on May 6th. Evidently it was only good from May 2nd through May 6th but what good does it do if I don't get the email until the 7th?? Did anyone else experienced this.
