Feedback Percentage

I have a 1499 score. With just one negative in my entire history with eBay since 1998. The negative comment finally moved from last 30 days column to the longest column.  When the negative score was current, my percentage was 98.4%. The negative has now aged, but why has my score lowered to 98%? This doesn’t make sense to me. Every other score is positive! Why would my score go down when the negative is getting older and I got no other neutrals or negatives?Help? Thanks, Denise
