Fake Funko pop variant

I received a Funko Pop a week ago of Jules from Pulp Fiction. It was a super fast and easy transaction and when I received it, everything looked okay mainly because I was looking at it in a dark room. Fast forward to yesterday, I noticed in the light that there was blood splatter paint on the pop. There is a variant from SDCC 2014, with splatter that is worth considerably more. The seller made no mention of this splatter when selling it and the pictures on the post show no blood splatter on the doll. It looks like it a bad attempt at adding the blood.  I am relatively new to eBay so I wasn’t sure if I should contact the buyer or EBay first.
