FAKE Elixir guitar strings from china are well-known, yet eBay allows their sale

I mistakenly assumed Elixir guitar (coated) strings are made in China as well as in the USA or Canada. But when I received a few sets at a very good price, they are fake. they are poor qualoty, not coated, not made by the Elixir manufacturer. And the packaging is a good faked copy, but not exsact. eBay must be aware pof this long-standing problem. I took the refund offered by the seller and recovered about 1/2 my money and will not make a mistake like this again. 

Fraud from China is one thing, but eBay is allowing this to continue. It is explained in YouTube and Google and has occurred a long while  (over a year), so eBay had plenty of time to block fraud.
