Ebay site is extremely slow to load when I am logged in, but not when I am not logged in

For example, I could not bid on an item until the Fruit Loops ad was completely loaded.

When I am logged in it is very, very slow to load and let me look at items on the page.

When I am not logged in it is reasonably fast.

I have tried two different browsers and am using the same computer each time.

Searching and buying on Ebay is no longer fun because it feels like a struggle and takes too much time.

Any suggested solutions?   (I currently browse while not logged in and only log in to put something in my watch list... but I put fewer things in my watch list and buy much less).
