Has this happened to any sellers here? I would like to know how you got your money back.
I approved a return for my buyer and provided the return label through Ebay. The buyer was suppose to ship item back by 4/3 but never uses the return label provided. On 4/16, I get a message from the buyer saying item was shipped out on 4/3 and if I can give her the refund. She gives me a tracking number but it shows "Your item was returned to the sender on April 9, 2019 at 5:43 pm in NEW YORK, NY 10002 because of an incomplete address. " I think she forgot to put down my apartment number. So I tell her to contact the post office or reship when she gets the item returned to her. She decides to ask Ebay to step in and Ebay gives her a full refund within 20 minutes. Now Ebay is telling me that in order to get my money back, I need to prove that the label the seller used (not the one provided by me through Ebay) is incomplete. Ebay is asking me to contact the post office,. We all know it is impossible to speak to a live person and even more impossible to get something in writing. The other way is to get buyer to admit she left out my apartment number on the label, which she has zero obligation to do now since she already got her full refund. Any sellers have a solution to this?
