Ebay is fast becoming a site for scammers, pawn shops, stolen items, and retail shops. The retail shops I can see for anyone wanting the convenience of online shopping, but, DO YOUR HOMEWORK by checking out their rating and watch for red flag warnings like overpriced, sounds like a good deal, and new posters. The reason for watching out for new posters is because after they run their scam they just get on Ebay as a different person. As for used items, if you don't do your homework and get scammed, it's your own fault. Also be wary of items that have been listed for very long periods of time. This is the biggest red flag of all. Ebay does absolutely nothing about this problem, because it's all about the money, so beware, or not. Your choice.

What does how long the item has been listed for have to do with anything?
I've had items that were listed for a couple years.
But, you're right, you have to check out the sellers and it's not just on Ebay, it's everywhere.
