Does a buyer know that you reported them? Will they get some kind of email from ebay? I don't think the buyer that I want to report makes many purhcases off of ebay based on their feedback score. If I report them will they be able to figure out that I reported them due to the lack of recent sellers they purchased from?
This is why I would be reporting them:
This past weekend I sold a lot of three Amish figurines. Right after the buyer bought them, she sent me a email stating that she will leave positive feedback when she receives them unbroken. I packaged them up and mailed them out via priority mail the next day. I want to say that they were packaged well. I made sure of that. Well... last night I received an email from her stating that all of them arrived broken. After I read that email I was in shock because I could not believe they were all broken after I packaged them so well. Then I had this gut feeling that I was being lied to. I started examining each broken picture that she sent to the pictures in my original listing. I am 100 percent positive that they are not the same figures. They are the same model and make, but not the exact same figurines. She pretty much had the exact same figurines that I was selling, but hers were broken. She took pictures of her already broken ones and claimed that mine came broken/ damaged in the mail. I had already refunded her money back before realizing this. I can point out in each pictures the differences between the two figurines (mine vs her)....but I feel like it will be hard to explain that over the phone to eBay. I am 100 percent sure they are not the same. The thing that bothers me the most is that she think she got away with this, and I am unaware of what she did. I want to contact her and tell her, but I know she will leave a negative review then. I am pretty new to eBay. Do you think eBay will work with me on this. Or will they side with the buyer?
Please help.
