Could not upload tracking Info

My customer made the purchase through ebay/paypal so they got their cut.  But my customer picked up the item himself so I did not have any

tracking number to upload on time.  Doing this has caused a negitive on my shipping and upload time against me.  If the customer picks up the item there should be a way to indicate this.  Anyone ever have this issue?  What's the fix and what to do about future purchases.  I guess I could have changed the listing first? Local pick up only?
