Completed Search not working at times

When I search completed listings, sometimes I get zero results when it should show unsold and sold listings. It is very random. I called eBay and they searched and got the same results I did on that particular search which was "pink butterfly sheet". There were 700+ active listings but 0 completed listings. I am also having trouble searching for "american girl dog honey". I get 100+ active listings but 0 completed. These should have results but I get nothing. I've tried changing from Chrome to IE with the same results. It is very random and very frustrating.
