Changes in the "Top Rated Seller" Status

We're making some changes to the US eBay Top Rated Seller policy, effective Jun 20, 2017. Here's what you need to know:

  • In the US, sellers must upload tracking on time and get a scan from the carrier on 95% of their US transactions.
  • In order to qualify for the Top Rated Seller grace period in the US, sellers must now meet the tracking requirements on at least 90% of their US transactions.

Also, starting May 01, 2017, final value fee discounts for US Top Rated Plus transactions will be 10%.

So, to summarize... We have a higher percentage to maintain for the "on time" of uploading tracking of our shipments (going up from 90% to 95%) and in return we are now getting LESS of a discount on final value fee? (was 20% but it will now be 10%??)

  Am I understanding this correctly?
