My seller is asking for a 6 digit local pickup code. I looked thru eBay messages and emails- nothing. What can I do? And yes, I have already paid.

If you are in a sales tax state, you had to prepay at checkout, otherwise you might have been asked to pay cash on pickup.
The seller can utilize the QR code or 6-digit code only if using the mobile app. I'm not sure that you will receive the code if not purchased through the App. Be sure to check spam.
The QR code confirms to the seller that you picked up the item, and is useful to the buyer to ensure that only the buyer (and not some interloper) arrives to take possession.
If you can not provide the code (or if the seller does not have eBay's mobile App), then you'll need another method to confirm pickup that is comfortable to both of you. I would recommend that you, or the seller, provide a copy of the sale to the seller that you would sign upon pickup. If the item is expensive, you might provide ID that matches the sales receipt (a guard against someone else stealing your item). The seller would then mark the item as "shipped" on eBay, confirming the item was given to you. If you inspect the item before taking possession and don't expect further hidden issues, you can leave feedback at the same time you pick up the item. That completes the full end-to-end transaction.
