I asked about this a day ago, but I wanted to add screenshots so it makes things a bit clearer for the community. I appealed an "I never received item" case, in which the tracking shows the package was delivered to the buyers local post office. eBay, however, refused to change the outcome, repeatedly stating I didn't provide proof of shipment/delivery.
You can clearly see from the tracking the package was delivered to a post agent and has been sitting there waiting for the buyer to pick it up.
Take note of eBay's suggestions on how to handle this and prevent it. Use a reliable shipping service. ?? It was the United States Postal Service.
Use Paypal to ask the buyer nicely to send me money for the decks that he got a refund for? Right. I'll get right on that....
I still can't get an answer on Seller Protection, and why it doesn't apply in this case. Here are screenshots for your viewing pleasure, especially the response stating "I understand that your buyer has already been refunded even though the tracking shows DELIVERED. I would be happy to assist you with this."
So they now say the tracking does show delivered to the postal agent, but they also say I didn't provide proof of this. Wow.
