Can a seller have 2 different accounts?

HELLO IM TRYING TO FIND SOME ANSWERS IF ANYONE CAN HELP WITH SOME FRIENDLY ADVICE PLEASE? I purchased an item and received and when I received the item I noticed it had a different sellers name on the package and under the name on the package I looked up on eBay I noticed that they are selling the same product for half the price I paid for it, its very upsetting I'm a struggling mom and I try to find the cheapest items I can to buy for my children for Christmas, I just feel like I was ripped off. How can you have 2 different accounts on eBay? Is that allowed? Is there anything I can do about being charged double for the same item from the same person even though they are using 2 different names? It really wouldn't bother me as much if the item was just reduced a buck or 2 but I could of bought 2 of the items I purchased for the same price, How is that fair? I would greatly appreciate any advice , Thank You,    Tara
