Im communication with this person, in regards to 2000 toyota 4runner and this is as far as its gotten. Im very sceptical to proceed. This is what she said.
"I do a special training program each day and I am not allowed to get out of the unit or call whenever I want.I am only allowed to check my email several time a day. Hope you can understand. The reason I'm selling this suv below market value is because don't have time for negotiations and I need money before april 1th for my next house in Anchorage. The suv is already at our Offutt Air Force Base Library form Offutt AFB, NE crated and ready to go. Like I already said, the delivery process will be managed by me. I think I can have it there at your home address within 2-3 working days. It will come with a clear title and reg. I am a member of the ebay buyer protection program and using this service you will get a 5 days testing period after delivery. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested so I can ask ebay to send you the details on this deal. If interested please include in your next email your contact info for ebay (full name, shipping address and phone number), so we can move forward with this transaction"
Just for fun, hit the back arrow here and go back a few pages. You will see more than one post exactly like yours. The only difference will be the kind of vehicle and the seller's situation: most popular is soldier being deployed, followed closely by widow selling late husband's car. You did not find this vehicle on eBay, so why in the world would eBay be involved in its sale? And why would a seller with any brains ship a car to a total stranger at his own expense to try for a few days?
Of course, it's a scam.
This is definitely a SCAM. Forward the email to car@ebay.com.
SCAM !!!!!!!
