Buyer returned item NOT in the same condition as sold. What do I do?

Sold someone a new with tags item, they opened a "not as described" return 28 days later stating the color did not match the description/photo. Just received the item back today and they removed the manaufacture packaging AND cut off the tags and didnt bother to include them in the package. So now I have a "new without tags" item instead of new with tags which is what I shipped them. On top of that I looked at the color, and it definitely matches the picture/description. I used a stock photo from the manufacture as well as stated the color. What do I do now? There isnt an option in the return case to reject the return and since I have the item back the buyer obviously needs some type of refund.

eBay will force you to refund.  They'll tell you to suck it up that bad buyers happen.

You can go to more actions by the item and at the bottom of the drop down box should be report the buyer option.  Let eBay know they abused the return process--explain you received it back and it's not the "wrong color" etc and let them know they didnt have to remove the tags and packaging for their complaint, which altered the item.  They lied in order to get you to pay return shipping. eBay supposedly keeps tabs on buyer reports and if they have a pattern of sellers complaining about abusing the returns process they're supposed to sanction them, deny returns or make them lose buyer protection or something like that.
