Buyer had placed bid and won auction on item but has not paid. It's been 10 day's and I've opened a case against the buyer. That was 5 days ago. Am I able to just close the opened case myself and cancel the order so I can place the time up for auction again?
Yes, if the buyer has not paid within 4 full days after you open the unpaid item claim, then you have the option to close it. This gives the buyer a nonpayment strike; gets you a credit for your final value fee; and closes out the transaction so you can relist (or send a Second Chance Offer). This is not the same as canceling the transaction; that's an entirely different process.
