I sold a designer jacket that is made from a thin metallic material. Item was kept in a clothes bag and I careful packaged it & shipped. Buyer claims the item arrived damaged and from the description she gave I thought it was near the belt. I don't normally accept returns but told her if tags are still attached return it, I thought she might be trying to "switch" a damaged item for mine.
Buyer returned it and after receiving it, clearly I see what has happened. The item is ripped at the thickest part of the shoulder blade in back. I figure she tried it on and pulled her shoulders forward to see if it was tight and being the thin material it is it ripped.
I really don't want to absorb this as it was a very expensive item and I know I sent it without damage.
