Bought a device, an when i tested it, it has a faulty comunication board.

First of all, I like the item i have bought, and it is difficult to get hold of so I don't like to return it!

However, this unit have a faulty communication unit, so i can't perform tethered photography in studio and
this is the reason why i bought a Phase One. To service it will cost me $2.409 so to pay $4.999 i think
this is a little to much, and i like to have a partial refund to service it - if possible.

Can anybody help me?

eBay can not force a seller to offer a partial refund, so you should open a return request.  You can indicate in the request that a partial refund would be acceptable.

Go to your purchase history - select return this item.  Click see more under the reasons and select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.

The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund.  If he doesn't, or says he can not send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
