Bid Cancellations

Ebay state this is not allowed to 'test' the high bid amount as it is bid manipulation. Of course it's allowed! What will ebay do if they bid, win and do not pay because they can't afford it after all.  The clause 'not allowed' is not a Legal requirement, only ebay ruling. They can warn you, ban you or black mark you, but if the buyer doesn't want to pay, he/she won't and there's nothing you can do about it. If you try to force them to pay, the buyer will complain about you. Should they pay under duress, all they will do is return the item as ' Not as desrcibed', ebay will dock the money from your account and there's nothing you can do except leave the 'buyer' a VERY bad Feedback....which, ebay can remove.

Ebay, it is alleged, has Double Standards and the seller will ALWAYS Lose unless you are very very clever? It's weighted in favour of the buyer...EVERY TIME and can be unfair. You can cancel your account but they won't care as they have millions more, plus you will only have to re-register.
