Attempt to use USPS first class mail large envelope rate

I have an envelope measuring 11"x.02"x5" and I can't get the USPS First Class large envelope rate from eBay. You can't enter fractional values into the eBay postage calculator. So, I enter 11"x1"x5" and the first class envelope rate doesn't appear as an option. The 1" entry should be 0.2" but you can't enter fractions. So, I can only get the more expensive Ground Advantage rate.

Interestingly, I was able to  select the USPS First Class Large Envelope rate when I set up the article for sale on eBay. And then, when it comes time to ship, I'm not given the First Class option....only the more expensive Ground Advantage option! So the buyer got charged $1.59 and I have to pay $3.81. Bait and switch!

Anybody out there run into this situation? If so, how did you resolve the Issue? Ebay has been no help resolving this.

Thanks for any guidance.

The Large envelope doesn't come with tracking. eBay doesn't give options to print postage that  doesn't come with tracking. You can list them but it's  up to you to add stamps or buy at the Post office.

You can’t print a label for a large envelope because there is no tracking.  You manually write the name and address on the envelope, then pay at the PO or use stamps.

You then manually mark the item as shipped.  If the buyer says not received, you will have to refund since there is no tracking to prove delivery.
