Anyone having luck getting ebay to stop emailing based on items that were browsed?

I'm really angry about this one. I've been getting emails notifying me that an item that I BROWSED is ending. Not a watched item, but something that I looked at in passing. I've tried to unsubscribe four times now, and I continue to get these emails. I've even opted out of the useful notifications regarding items I'm actively watching or that I'm actively bidding on. Sadly, that opt out seems to have worked, but not the opt out on browsed items. 

What's up with this? Have the people who run ebay completely lost their ethics? How can I get them to honor my request that they stop notifying me that a browsed item is ending?
