@quester-inc This is browser malware and not something that ebay is promoting. You need to close your browser. Never click on the close box on a pop up. Next open your browser and clear all history.
Run a full virus scan. Add a pop up blocker if you do not already have one.
From your iPad, go to the iTunes store. download and install AdGuard.
AdGuard is a pop up blocker with much better reviews than AdBlock plus.
Since this is a malware attack on the customers browser there is nothing that ebay can do to stop this. It is up to the end user to protect their computer.
