For most mail services, the attachment is a paperclip icon that will open when clicked, and from there, the file or files can be downloaded or opened. If the problem is that you see the attachment but can't read the coding, then perhaps you can paste an innocuous snippet here.
Otherwise, since every mail client is different, I might suggest that you post a new question and state the name of your email service and whether your mail is handled online or on your computer. Several people monitor this forum and someone who is familiar with your mail client may then be able to address retrieving the attachment.
