I believe this is a geisha, I've been very unsuccessful in finding anything like this pretty lady.
I'm pretty sure she is Banded Rhodochrosite and that's about it.
She is 3"T x 1 3/4" W X 1 3/4" D.
Weight 114 Grams
Does anyone know where I could start with her and try to narrow down any information on her possible age, country of origin, is she valuable. I've left her as is, very dirty, she is very good condition.
I don't know if she was likely carved in Japan or China or ??? I really would love to find out more about her, she is so pretty.
