How do you recognize a winning auction page?

Is there any way to tell that you have the proper auction and potentially win, or do you have to BUY IT NOW some crap that you don't even want only to find out it's not the winning auction? PLEASE, somehow EBAY left this part out...

Hey did you guys know about the entries for the sweepstakes?

I just listened to the radio broadcast of this thing. It sounds like if you buy sell or put and auction up that you also get entered it the sweepstakes. Does anyone know if this is right?
