The thing I don't get is this...okay he was a runner but that could have truly 1000's of things to go with runner. I don't understand where people got toyota first. What about runners like the ones that go on tables??? I just don't understand how they went to toyota?

The jesse guy took the medals for US in the 1936 olympics (the first televised olympics, btw...)... but also....1936 was the beginning AND ending year for the most important labor strike in the US....UAW sit in strike at GM motors! A running medalist, and an automobile.....4Runner! I didn't think they'd be so good as to mix the two together..
