need information on heavy crucifixtion piece plaster

This piece is very heavy. Is it plaster or chalkware ? Did it come from a church ? What is the value ? Any help or information please ?

That is a lovely piece!  I believe it is plaster.  Chalkware is light.  The saying on the bottom is used in Catholic worship.  I might have been a home altar for praying in front of or saying the rosary.
